Ah, see what you mean. Did not realize this, as after creating a new view 
M2 always shows this filterbody 'where subject contains' whithout further 
text.  Not quite sure, whether this is simply ignored.

Yep! You might want to report it, as every editing should be saved /after/ 
hitting OK.
