Vishal, Another snippet which may help track down the problem... Melvyn who has the problem like you in using Win 2000 + SP3... _but_ Daniel also on TBBETA is using Win 2000 +Service Pack 4 Build 2195 and his auto checking is working fine... soooo..... the next question is... what Service Pack/s have you installed with your Win 2000?
