A system wide macro tool is to me, a better idea than having each
application implement macros. PowerPro is extremely stable and useful. I
can't do without it now since I have it doing many things throughout the
system, though I use it mostly with TB!.

Delete always deletes only that message you're viewing. It's the message
that you're next taken to that's dependent on your list sorting. Why is
that disastrous?

If you have unread messages in multiple folders and all those folders
have the 'Show unread messages on Mail ticker" option enabled, double
click the ticker and the ticker virtual folder will appear. By default
the message list isn't opened, so you have to enable it, by going to
View/Message List. As you can see now, you have a folder view window,
listing all messages that are in the Mail Ticker, even though they are
distributed across different folders. If you enable the Folder column in
the message list, you'll now see which messages belong to which folder.
