Unless I'm missing something here macros would be the only significant issue with your upgrade to v2. I'm no macro expert, but from what I've read the changes are better. I had some of my macros go south on me with v1.63 beta 8. I relied on the experts to get the bugs worked out. Hopefully newer documentation on v2 will provide insight to users such as yourself.
