I have over 100.000 emails in TB! and he/she is very responsive. It might take some time to build all the indexes for all your folders and yes if you have 19K mails in your ticker that might be pushing it. No, because performance does not and should not degrade. Try marking everything you have read "read" and run "kil dupes" and Purge all folders. That should force TB! to build new indexes and clean out all the extra�s.
