Then the 're-send' command just puts in the the outbox for you. If the box below (combined delivery) is checked, it will go out automatically then next timed mail check. If it is not, you will have to shift-F2 to send your outbox. I use deferred delivery all the time on non-mailing lists, since I often want to add or change to the e-mail before it goes out.
