What's worse is that it does it in the outbox to. I normally don't
look at it as all mail is instantly sent apart from when I do a mass
mailing using a template. I did this recently and selected 65 mails
with fairly large attachments to send but the outbox remained
stubbornly empty so I reran the template but still an empty outbox.
After a third attempt I happened to click on the outbox and there were
195 messages complete with large attachments all ready to go. Not only
would the recipients have been very annoyed but so would I!

Fortunately I was able to delete them all and start again before the
next scheduled blink which happens every 5 minutes!

This has happened every time since that I have messages waiting in the
outbox. I normally click on the send immediately button for individual
mails.
