Thanks Roelof and antje, I suppose I felt like I was overlooking something simple and was ignored due to that fact (oh no, not that silly question yet again... ;) I find it very odd that a product line (authentic/secure/regular TB!) that appears very security/privacy conscious, i.e. pgp and internal cert integration, authentication features, proper handling of attachments and active content, s/mime and pgp/mime ready, working on spam and AV plugs, and SSL/TLS server supporting... Yet it doesn't even mention it, that I could find in the help file- nor does it seem to support unknown CA or 'incomplete' chains very well at all. Actually a bit surprising if it's not considered a required or at least popular feature- nothing like secure transport to the mail server anyways, imo. I ahd thought of asking in TBbeta, maybe now- between beta testing cycles would be a good time :) See ya folks, back to digest lurk mode... -- Most Sincerely, Mark (Army RedLeg) Using TheBat! 2.00.6 on Win2ksp3 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.00 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
