Hi Bat Users, I have installed V2 last week and I have noticed some differences in behavior from previous versions, which I would like all of you to have a look at.
1) V2 creates more duplicate email msg�s I now have 200 duplicates every now and then in 1 day in 1 folder. That is much more then I had before. I use SMTP/POP3 on all but 1 account and this is not the one. 2) Restore from backup not complete I made a back up and reinstalled that on my laptop but not all the msg were restored. I had to do a restore, for the same file, at least twice to get all the email in all the folders. I had all option marked when doing the backup and restore. 3) The TB! folder on my drive was filled with 92 tmp files I have thrown them all out now, but I think it is sloppy programming. 4) V2 seems slightly slower then the previous version on some actions. I regularly mark folder read with 80 msg. This is visibly slower in V2 5) A file that is saved to the virtual folder "my documents" is save to the real folder AND PATH of the user on win2K. This becomes a problem if you switch users and do a save because it gets save in the file structure of the original user and not the current one. I just noticed this and this might have been pre-V2 behaviour to.
