Allie Martin and myself discussed this issue this morning in regards
to NOD32, functioning at the Winsock level, to scan incoming mail for
virus and his results are the same. CPU and VM usage climb and climb
the longer The_Bat! runs. Try turning off NOD32's e-mail scan function
and just utilize the program's active scan function. As an active scan
function is operational at open and close of files it "should" afford
you the same protection against infection.
