-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello TBUDL!
Normally I use GPGrelay to handle pgp functions but while experimenting with The Bat's built in open pgp support I have been experiencing a problem. Specifically this error message appears when attempting to sign or encrypt and sign: gpg: no default secret key: secret key not available gpg: [stdin]: sign+encrypt failed: secret key not available This occurs using GnuPG. I installed the key into PGP 8.0.2 and selected that PGP version in The Bat! and no problems occurred signing or encrypting. This problem only occurred in 1 of my several email accounts. They all have different keys. The only difference I noticed was that the key on the problematic account is an RSA key. I temporarily disabled that key and created a DSA key with the same email address. The Bat! encrypted and signed without a problem. This leads me to believe that there is a problem using GnuPG RSA keys with The Bat's open pgp handler. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any comments or suggestions? - -- Kevin Coates Dewitt, NY USA Using TB! v2.01 under Windows XP 5.1.2600 SP1 ________________________________________________________________ (see kludges for my pgp key) . -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQE/kXYMRbTFvUNHmLkRAj9BAJ0V8gsiln4AjWxYiHA4pVgRXK6GqACdFP4P vPGjRTUdvQC5uJpXCK1fezc= =zszo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.01 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
