Howdy,

I have often wondered about the default LDAP server entries that come
pre-configured in TB's address books window (Bigfoot, Infospace,
Switchboard, etc.). I don't use LDAP (right now) so I am wondering if
there is any reason to keep those entries.

For those in the know about LDAP, I have some questions. As a
home-office user with a DSL SMTP/POP connection:

1. Is it possible to use LDAP?
2. If so, why would I want to?
3. What benefits would using LDAP gain me over using standard SMTP/POP
connections?
4. If these questions are already answered by a FAQ or other reference
somewhere, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks much!
