I get things like this happening to me from time to time when switching screen resolutions (I often use RDP from my linux machine to do work on my windows machine in the other room). When I do this, returning to the windows machine results in some oddities such as the message preview portion being about 2 lines high. As somebody has already suggested, a good backup... but not of the application itself, but a set of registry keys. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT If you backup that whole tree once you have TB set how you want (exclude "Users Depot" as it contains information about account names and what not, which isn't really vital to the display of TB, but should be included in a normal backup), you can export the whole branch to a .reg file, and any time something goes amiss, just close The Bat, run the reg file, and it should fix all the details for you. This will probably be a little safer than doing a restore of the whole The Bat! tree when all you need are some basic settings ;) -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Best file compression around: "DEL *.*" = 100% compression.
