If you don't need IMAP (not working perfectly yet as I read, but working), or PGP/MIME (working quite well, but there are still some bugs), or HTML composing (I haven't tried), 1.62r is certainly a good mailer. My mother insists on keeping her 1.61, because it is working for her needs. I prefer the current version, most for PGP/MIME support. DH> And is the current version stable? Most of the time. Better than previous versions. Still, sometimes the application is "closed because of illegal operations" (I don't know which), but it doesn't happen too often any more. Summary: I absolutely feel that my $ 17.50 upgrade fee has been a good investment, particularly in regard to the fact that I bought the program more than two years ago, and all recent upgrades were free. :) - -- Cheers Peter ********* This message was created with The Bat!, version 2.01.7 under OS Windows 98, 4, 10, build 2222, on a Pentium II machine at 200MHz, 64 MB RAM using PGP 6.5.8 ckt, build 09b3 Winamp currently playing: Avril Lavigne - Complicated -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 6.5.8ckt 09b3 Comment: *Use OpenPGP for privacy and authentication* iQA/AwUBP5lh9QM2UgbhB3TOEQJXTwCfUQGB2ArIG497v9VhANLWZtPULREAoOQO M0K/l8BtwRim2h6KjsQl6Wo3 =RqMG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.01.3 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
