I believe we discussed about this issue in this list months ago, but I
can't find anything in the archives now.
OK, here is what I want to do. I want to check for a common condition X
in incoming messages and, if the condition is met, FLAG the message and
continue processing with other filters. Then, some filters down, I want to
test for condition A and: if A is true .and. message is flagged .then.
move to folder A1, or if A if true .and. message is not flagged, move to
folder A2.
Filter 1:
If X present, FLAG the message.
Continue processing with other filters.
....
....
Filter N:
If A .and. FLAGGED
Move to folder A1
Continue processing
Filter N+1:
If A
Move to folder A2
All messages that meet the A condition, and whether flagged or not, end
up in folder A2.
Can't a flag or a colour set in one filter be tested in another filter
down the list? Or is it perhaps a bug?
