I've asked a similar question in the past but haven't come across a definitive answer. So here's what I do and what I'd like to see in TB! I've created a separate folder called Archive, which uses a different directory (different drive) for the messages. This folder contains folders for TBDL, TBBETA etc. That is, my high volume folders. Consequently, they aren't backed up when I run my daily backup routine. Unfortunately, copying messages to the archive is only semi-automated. I use manual filters to move messages to the corresponding archive file if they are older than 90 days. I'd love to automate this. It's shame Scheduler can't automate this. Just a thought: perhaps Marck's monthly reminder could be used to trigger this? Suggestions and alternatives welcome! Q> Also...should I be using a third party item like MailBag Assistant from Q> Fookes ( http://www.fookes.com/mailbag/index.php )? If so, what are the benefits Q> over straight TB archiving? I tried MB for a while but found it much slower than TB! What's more, I'd rather keep all my messages together. - -- As ever, Martin Webster The Bat! 2.01.3 w/ BayesIt! 0.4gm (Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP SDK 3.0.2 iQA/AwUBP5r4hFv+PP8p0/caEQIDYQCg3GrV/fl9+fveg4SkCIX3ARaOZjoAn2rt 1bsCCAWpYcp6TH611H95ETSA =yFO0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
