If you just want TB to start up, or take focus when you click on a nntp:// link, then yes - you can do this. But TB won't be able to do anything that a usual newsreader does because it just doesn't have the functionality built in right now. MyGate would be better able to respond in a sensible way - but we'll leave that up to Andrew.
