The window from which I view your message has a particular width, however, it's not for viewing messages, but instead for viewing the message list above. If I were to set this window to an optimum width for reading unwrapped text like yours, then I'd end up not being able to see all columns in the message list above your text. As a result of this, your text lines appear uncomfortably long to read as they wrap to the other edge of the screen. This is a known issue with reading e-mail and is covered in the RFC and netiquette. It's best to wrap your text and the optimum wrapping point is at 72 to 76 characters. In terms of text wrapping, MicroEd works very well at sending exactly what you see when you hit send. This isn't so with the alternative plain text (Windows) editor that you're using. -- -= allie_M =- | List Moderator PGPKeys: http://www.ac-martin.com/pgpkeys.html ____________________________________ Using TB! v2.01.26 on WinXP Pro (SP1)
