Solved my own problem but thank you all for listening anyway.
In case it helps anybody on the list the solution is :-
The Search string should be "Bigfoot&Cairns" NOT "Bigfoot & Cairns".
The space characters I originally used must get included in the search
pattern and in the msg I was searching for 'Bigfoot' is part of an
e-mail address, "bigfoot.com".
It's often the smallest things that get us !
