Hello Batters! I recently started getting a weekly vendor price list in email. I have a filter 1) marking those emails read and 2) placing them in the vendor's folder.
The folder properties are set as such: 1) MAX stored mssgs=2 and 2) On exit a) remove old mssgs and b) compress the folder. The account properties are set to 1) store attachments in a "special" folder (defined on that same screen) and to 2) delete attached files when the mssg is deleted from the trash. After committing to these changes and closing the program the 1) folder does indeed have only the last 2 mssgs from the vendor and 2) the trash shows the purged old emails.
