Actually I know most of that, but I just opened a new
email account and the first mails I got were spams from
yahoo addresses ... on the one hand it's pointless to
report them, because as you say, they will simply have
new addresses tomorrow, but on the other hand, if you
don't report them, everybody thinks the spam problem has
gone away.

I'm also aware of the spoofing issue, and find that most
of the ip's involved are not merely overseas, but also
have no address to report to.

Having said that, I'd really like to find the control
that attaches an email to a new mail intact because it's
a useful thing to be able to do, I've done it before, but
can't find the control or the mail reference to it ...
and I promise not to lose it this time if someone can
tell me what the devil it is.
