You could delete them when composing the message. Just have the editor
display the In-Reply-To and Follow-up headers via the View menu. Before
composing, delete the field contents.
Upon checking, I see there is no In-Reply-To header listed. Then you
could configure the header to be shown by going to View/Edit Headers in
the editor or via the main preferences.
