I have no idea, frankly. But it easily may be because the only thing
documented about TNEF is documentation of API (provided by MS
Outlook). Binary format can be explored only by hacking, this creates
some worries about DMCA and other things we don't know yet :-)

The real problem is absence of proper documentation. So, implementing
support of TNEF would create a new can of worms (i.e. bugs) already
opened...
