What comes close is this: Create a quick template called CR (options - quick templates) Use as template two empty line separated with [snip] or if you prefer [text deleted for brevity] Next time you need this function, you just select the superfluous quotes, press CR followed by Ctrl-Space The CR will overwrite the selected text and the Ctrl-Space indicates that you want to call the QT (quick template) of that name.
