And I have further info. The Trackman allows you to set a button press on the wheel to do something, like launch Explorer for example. It also allows you to set "Universal scroll". With this feature on I can get a normal scroll (line by line) in the TB, but, again, switching to screen kills scrolling altogether. So, I hope Stefan has dealt with the problem by "handling" the -1 return.
