I would say "Repair" does not work in this case, as the messages have not been imported yet, but I don't know what could cause the hanging on 'import messages'. I suggest you update to 2.04.4. Perhaps it's something that got fixed and if not, you can now log the raw protocol data and this could show up the error. See protocol.ini for this, which has to be put into the accounts root dir and edited to say "yes" for logging. Don't forget to hide your username and password if you should post an excerpt of this log.
