I've seen tons of newsgroup messages with stuff like "@myself.invalid" as the last part of mid, and nobody really complained. And, since GMane is a mail-to-nntp gateway anyway (which currently doesn't feed beyond their server), there shouldn't be a problem anyway. Also, there is no need for the domain to actually belong to you - eg. Forte has registered 4ax.com (or something like that) for Agent users, and if you register with individual.net, they let you use a certain domain (forgot which one, you can read their FAQ). The general rule is, that the domain must exist, but nothing critical will happen if it doesn't. -- begin .sig < Jernej Simoncic >< http://deepthought.ena.si/ > Anyone who says he isn't going to resign, four times, definitely will. -- Galbraith's Law of Political Wisdom end ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.04.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
