Hi,

I'm trying to send S/MIME encrypted email to an OE recipient. When
said recipient recieves my mail, he can perfectly import the
certificate but once he tried to send me back an encrypted mail OE
gives out the warning that the message will only be encrypted with 40
bit encryption.

Supposedly, the signature should contain a "smimecapabilities" field
which should state, well, the recipient's S/MIME capabilities. With
this not present/interpretable or whatever, OE will only use RC-2 (40
bit). I've tried to use the Internal S/MIME implementation as well as
the MS CryptoApi with correct encryption settings but to no avail.
Anybody have a clue why OE doesn't interprete the settings correctly?

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Oliver
