One thing though Thomas. I remember when I used to do what you're doing, TB! would not download the messages exceeding your specified limit and the option to delete messages from the server would result in the undownloaded large messages being deleted from the server.

I don't know if this is still the case so be careful or just leave the messages on the server for a day so you have time to investigate large messages. Come to think of it, I think you already don't delete messages immediately from the server. :) I remember this from our IMAP discussions.
