I've been using the latest release with two IMAP accounts and things have gone pretty well so far. I am a frequent complainer so I thought it only fair to report this success.
Also, as much as I'd love to deny it (because I cried for more IMAP attention over new bells & whistles), the Virtual Folders are really really cool. :) I am so happy with the ability to flag messages for follow up and be able to see those messages all in one folder! I tried to simply upgrade to 2.10 over 1.62r. I converted all accounts to POP, then closed my eyes and held my breath. Things got a little weird, but I think it was due to me having a folder called SPAM that TB wanted to use. (just guessing here) I saw common folders from a previous installation show up. Not sure what that was about. I reinstalled and things seem to be OK (I renamed my SPAM common folder: --SPAM--) My two IMAP accounts only have a handful of folders and don't have a lot of messages yet. My old accounts are POP and I'm using them as archive filing for the time being. Right now, my plan is to only keep 30 days worth of messages in IMAP and move them to local folders after that. Yes, I'm treading lightly... ;) But things are working! My laptop is out of commission, so I'm unable to test the latest beta releases. 2.10.03 has some nice stuff, though. The only real problem I've seen so far was when trying to process an Outgoing filter for the first time tonight. The message went to Outbox, then I got an Access Violation. -- Ken Green Using The Bat! v2.10.03 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.10.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
