I used to use PopFile, but found its memory overhead a little
overbearing. I switched to K9 for a while which works in much the same
way but has a Windows native interface and much lower overhead.

Now I use the BayesIT plugin and all seems well.

For AV, I use the built-in hooks to the Kaspersky AV product. The new
Personal 5.0 has an entirely rebuilt interface and shows many speed
improvements, especially in relation to checking email and
attachements.
