Hello TBUDL, I'm a long time Forte Agent user that's looking for a client that didn't stop development 5 years ago... I've been looking through some FAQs but I couldn't find the (complete) answers there. Partly because I have the impression the FAQ is for v1.x and the v2.x interface is very diffrent. --- PGP --- I have a fully working copy of PGP v8 installed. When I decrypt a message I wants to save a file. I only need security while transfering the email so I want a decrypted version in my Inbox. So that I can reply to it etc. OpenPGP seems to hanfle things much better but I think that only supports IDEA chiper and MD5 hashes. And that's not good enough I'm afraid because 'half the world' uses ciphers OpenPGP can't handle. But like always on this kind of lists there are tweakers around that have usefull tips. I hope :D --- Spam --- Currently I use the standalone freeware K9 I like it because it's light weight and it's superb filtering. The only drawback is that I rather have one icon less cluttering my tray. I'm not testing the 'Anti Spam plugin by Achim Winkler' I trained it with 190 HAMs and 193 SPAMs and still it reports it has to few messages and needs more training. AFAICS it didn't even tried to classify one of the incomming mails Is that normal behaviour or do I need to alster some settings? --- Filtering --- I can only filter on simple things like sender. But TB! site mentions it's filtering as one of it's key strengths. So obviously I'm overlooking ways to filter on any part of the full header. I hope :P --- Newsgroups --- In an old FAQ (pdf file) there is an interview with one of the TB! programmers. A Newsgroup plug in is mentioned in that interview. But on the site no info can be found about it. Please enlight me! :D --- Misc --- Are there any newbie sites with things like: - plug ins - scripts - templates - ........ A lot of questions for a first post; but I just want to lern as much as possible in my 30 day evaluation period.
