Hello, everybody, and thanks for all your help! The cause of the problem was in fact a different one: TB was registered as the default mail client, and Outlook was not. Making Outlook the default mailer fixes the problem. The import went rather smoothly then, with the exception of two OLE errors (8004010F and 80040115) that subsequently caused TB to crash. I was able to fix this by deleting the message, using Outlook, that followed immediately after the last message the Bat was able to import in the respective folder. Then I had to re-boot Windows because of the access violation and was able to re-import the folder without any trouble.
