What are you trying to do?

<Ctrl><Shift><Left arrow> is how I'd write that. This closes a thread
when message list is selected (same as <Ctrl><Shift>-). It only works
when you view messages by thread _and_ the message starts the thread or
a branch (the [+] icon.)

The same combination will move a folder left if the account tree is
selected.

<Ctrl><Shift>L toggles the log viewer (or whatever it's called) at the
bottom of the main TB! window.

As above, but will expand thread or indent a folder. I'm not aware that
<Ctrl><Shift>R does anything.
