Yesterday I installed The Bat version 2.11.01 on top of version 2.01 (I am not really sure what the former version was, but it was version 2 definitely). Everything works fine except for sending out mail. You may have noticed I am using now Eudora to get across.
After a time out from the Connection Centre, my log file tells me this: 09/07/2004, 21:05:11: SEND - sending mail messages - 2 messages in queue 09/07/2004, 21:05:11: FETCH - connection finished - 0 messages received 09/07/2004, 21:05:11: SEND - connected to SMTP server 09/07/2004, 21:05:12: SEND - sending message [EMAIL PROTECTED] !09/07/2004, 21:06:12: SEND - Server reports error. The response is: 2.1.0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] OK !09/07/2004, 21:06:12: SEND - Server reports error. The response is: 0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] OK !09/07/2004, 21:06:12: SEND - Server reports error. It is no server or connection problem since Eudora works fine on the same computer, as it always did. Does anyone recognise the problem? Is there a work around? I am running Microsoft Windows 98 using a small TCP/IP network. TheBat! is installed on a network drive. If I access The Bat! from another computer in the network I get the same problem. I tried to reinstall an older version and the problem persisted. I hope somebody helps me out quick, Eudora is no suitable solution without all the templates and macro's I am used to!
