Here's what one of the developers, Stefan Tanurkov, wrote about it on another TB! list, tbbeta (The Bat! beta discussion list.), on Friday, May 14, 2004, 5:15:21 AM (Fri, 14 May 2004 13:15:21 +0300):
Begin Copy-and-Paste__________________________________________________ Chat Folders are designed for occasional messaging (i.e. chat :-) when the thread's messages may be located in any folder of your system. For example, when you send a message to somebody you're not intended to contact often and you're too lazy to create a special filter, but reply to the message is important to you somehow. End Copy-and-Paste____________________________________________________ The "chat" menu is found in the TB! main window, Account/Properties/chat (chat is way down the list, below Memo) I have mine set to "no chat," because I don't wish to use this feature. -- Best regards, Mary :Mary: The Bat! 2.12.00 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.12.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
