I'm using The Bat! version 2.12 beta/7 in evaluation mode and discovered 2 issues that may be bugs:
1) if you create an account without saying during the creation steps that it will use authenticated SMTP, you won't be able to enable this feature afterwards. You can set the checkbox in Account / Properties / Transport / SMTP authentication but this information is lost as soon as the screen is closed. If you create the account checking the SMTP auth during the process of creating the account, it saves this information.
2) if you create an account saying to leave the retrieved messages on the server, it won't leave them there. You have to open the Account / Properties / Mail Management and mark the "leave messages on server" again before trying to get new mail if you want the messages to remain on the server.
I couldn't find any references on these 2 subjects in your FAQ or list discussions. Have these issues already been corrected?
