Most of my folders are under 1MB in size (I store attachments separately) and they almost always open in under a second, even over the network with virus scanners working. When new mail comes in, of course, there's a delay while the virus scanners do their thing. But compacting always gets a zip back in my folders if they're slow in opening. -- -Mark Wieder Using The Bat! v1.63 Beta/7 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.12.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
