It's something for the future though to divide your harddisk into multiple partitions, especially since you're configuring your pc right now. It's been awhile since I used Ghost, but wasn't it possible to read those images like they drives themselves? If not buy or borrow an extra harddisk big enough to contain your restored image and restore (copy) your message base from it.
