In that sort of setup, you don't have your MAPI32.DLL replaced by TB!, so your Outlook works fine. What other people often do, however, is having The Bat! as their MAPI application, which connects to their Exchange server using MAPI protocol, etc. In that situation, TB! will replace MAPI32.DLL, and Outlook will not work, precisely because the latter will be lacking the "proper" MAPI32.DLL.
