Would you consider upgrading to a beta post-release version? In the opinion of many TB! users, and in my opinion, v. 3.0 was released too early. However, the programmers have been working hard and long ever since to clear up bugs--which your random closing certainly seems to be. I have not seen any complaints of this in the later betas. To get a beta version do this: "IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/ " Current beta is 3.00.17 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/ " Or, you could lurk on tbbeta for awhile to assure yourself that you're not "jumping out of the frying pan into the fire." :) At any rate, I will be surprised if anyone on this list has a work-around for you. You might try a re-download and a re-install. I never did have the problem you describe when I was running v. 3.0, myself. Or--you could get the latest beta. It's been quite stable for me. A few people seem to be getting Access Violation error messages when choosing Sorting Office/filters. But that may be cleared up in the upcoming beta v.18. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.0.0.17 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.00.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
