Not exactly what your want because it doesn't alter the icon in any way but you may want to try this: Go to Options/Preferences/Colour Groups and Font and define a new group with name Top Level and with your colour of choice for font and background. Now, go to one of your top level folders in your folder tree, right click on it and select Colour Group/Top Level. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
