I rather like the idea of being able to sign messages with PGP in a realtively transparent way using PGP/MIME, which TB 3.x supports very nicely, but I'm wondering how well other e-mail clients support it. In order to use it with any regularly (such as in templates), a fairly large number of my correspondents would have to be able to read it (at least the plaintext, even if they might not be able to verify the signature).
I know that Outlook Express presents PGP/MIME messages as two .DAT attachments with no text, which obviously makes it useless for correspondents using that client (especially since notive and unsophisticated users are more likely to be using OE than anything else). Are there any other widely used clients (other than TB itself) that support PGP/MIME well? -- Anthony __________________________________________________ Using The Bat! v3.0.1.33 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
