Hello TBUDL,

Today I went to see a friend for who I had created a POP account. In
order to use it, he needed an email client as he had only used webmail
before. He is not very computer literate and lives in the provinces,
so I drove out there today to get it running for him.

Of course I recommended TB Pro (as he is using it for his company) and
after the huge download that took some 45 minutes (I remember the
times when TB would fit on a floppy disk...), I started the MSI
install.

It hung with an error dialog:

Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required [...] is corrupt and
cannot be used.

Abort / Retry / Ignore

Retry just yielded the same error message, so I clicked on Ignore,
which caused an "Internal error 2350". I clicked on OK or something,
and TB's installer then proceded to go backwards and clean up.

I ended up setting up Outlook Expess for him, and it works. Sad thing
is, he had already given me his credit card so that I can register TB
for him at EUR 45.00 right away. Lost sales for Ritlabs.

What is that error? Win XP Pro SP1.

Thomas.
