Most settings are stored in the mail directory, though some of them
are stored in the registry. You can automate the saving of your
registry setting with a commandline like this:

c:\windows\regedit.exe /e c:\thebat.reg HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT

adapt the path and the output file so that they fit for your local
settings. When you store the .reg file in your mail directory, it'll
tag along with your back-up.
