Hello, I'm currently evaluating The Bat and in the meantime I'm also evaluating a new ADSL provider (Cegetel). Let me explain : I have Wanadoo ADSL provider on phone line 1 and Cegetel on phone line 2 On phone line 1 via smtp.wanadoo.fr, I can send Email via smtp protocol with no problem On phone line 2 via smtp.cegetel.net, I am not able to send any message at all. The log report the following :
!10/11/2004, 08:38:24: SEND - Message has not been sent. Server reply - <localhost>: Helo command rejected: Invalid name 10/11/2004, 08:38:24: SEND - connection finished - 0 messages sent 10/11/2004, 08:38:24: SEND - Some messages were not sent - check the log for details
If I switch to Outlook Express, with the same parameters I can send Email
via smtp.cegetel.net. In fact I'm sending this message via Outlook Express
and Cegetel.
Is this a bug in the current Bat version ?
I have tried the current release version and the latest beta 3.02 beta 6
I would appreciate any pointer
