I take <tab><delete><enter> for deleting attachments and keeping the
message. If I want to delete multiple attachments I take
<tab>Shift+Cursor<delete><enter>. It's pretty fast and easy, although it
has more than one hot key.

If I understood well. But, if you'd want to delete an attachment before
the message is downloaded, and for a such action to have a dedicated
filter, I think such a filter has to be smart a lot to guess what
attachment to delete.

I have heard of filtering against/by "file" (in NFS in v3.0), tried it
out but it was not in mood to work, then, so I kicked v.3 in paltry.
Perhaps they have fixed it till now, so it could offer some alternative
solutions.
