Well, I have hundreds of filters all of which do exactly what I ask of
them. Many of them work on multiple levels and are complex.

I recommend that you look at this differently.

Then there is something amiss with the filter you have created and not
the system running it. You could paste the filter here or in TBTech
for our advice. There's nothing wrong with TB's astonishingly good
filter system - especially in V3.

There are things in the filter system that can catch you out.
Particularly in filter ordering. If you have an earlier filter in the
system that operates on the messages then your popfile filter won't be
given the opportunity to work.
