When you were first trying to sort out the "hang" problem, it was on my mind to wonder if you were up to trying a beta. I had a number of "hanging" type difficulties with The Bat! 3.xx including not being able to close it except with the task manager. These were all sorted by beta v. 3.0.2.5, which was pretty stable in many other respects, also. Just still not good for IMAP and a few people's very, very complex filters. I'm running 3.0.2.6 right now, which is the same .exe as 3.0.2.5. Beta version 3.0.2.7 has the capability of encryption for the Professional Version, but I have not installed that, which requires a little bit of jumping through hoops. Since you have WinRar you could easily get the 3.0.2.5rar or the 3.0.2.6rar installed right over The Bat! files you have now. That's if you wanted to sign up as a beta tester. All the developers ask is that you use it normally--that's the minimum, and that's what I do--and report any difficulties on the tbbeta list. Just a thought. If you're too worn out with Information Technology right now to consider it, I apologize for thinking out loud! :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.0.2.6 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
