> I'm having folders disappear. [UPDATE] I hope some of you are familiar with Horde/IMP webmail.
When I tried performing the "fix" process that I wrote about originally (deleting "disappeared" folder through a webmail interface, then re-creating it), I noticed that the folder that had the problem looked different in the folder list viewed in Horde. My TBOT folder had a small outgoing arrow icon. Most of the other folders look like an Inbox tray icon. TBOT had that, plus an outgoing arrow. This is the same icon used for INBOX.Draft, INBOX.Sent, and INBOX.Trash (but not INBOX, which has its own icon). Also, sent-mail and spam folders have this icon. Upon further review, I noticed that there were two other folders that also had the "special" icon. Lo and behold, these folders were not showing up in The Bat either. And when I try to re-create the folder in Horde, I get a "folder already exists" error. **(see below) IIRC, the folders in question (with the outgoing icon) were created in The Bat. It's possible they were created using the filter mechanism "automatically create folder if necessary." I say possible because I know I used this for *some* folders, but cannot be sure if I used this option for the folders in question. Anyway, I'm curious about this icon and why these folders are different. It's obvious that this is related to the disappearing folder act I've been experiencing, but I can't figure out what's going on. Horde's help system is pretty sparse and doesn't mention the icons at all. Anyone familiar with Horde/IMP? Or what these icons could mean that would cause them to disappear in The Bat? ** After deleting TBOT this last time, I tried empyting the Trash and logging out of Horde. I logged back in and created a new TBOT folder - regular icon!! I will test this further and report back. However, I'd appreciate anyone familiar with Horde and/or what I'm experiencing to offer any feedback. -- Best regards, ken mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
